Popular Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan, who started a new political
party on March 14, has declared the "policies of Jana Sena Party". The
Power Star says that Jana Sena will celebrate only the following
holidays - the Indian Independence Day and Republic Day and Formation
Day of the two Telugu States.
In press statement released to the media, Pawan Kalyan says, "Birthdays
and cultural and religious festivals will not be celebrated because they
have all been exploited for political gains instead of the original
purpose of national integrity. This is the policy of Jana Sena out of
immense respect for our culture and the multi-religious fabric of
Bharath nation."
Jana Sena is a
serious political party with a long-term goal not for temporary
electoral gains, but socio-political aims.
Jana Sena has started recruiting several thousands of party members with
careful scrutiny and started off training them extensively to build a
social army. Meanwhile, Power Star Pawan Kalyan has penned a book titled
'ISM' and this book is going to serve as the political reference point
for his Jana Sena Party. He has written this book over a period of many
years along with his friend Raju Ravitej.
